Towers, mid-rises and the older buildings
In City Centre, the towers along Burnhamthorpe, Confederation Parkway and Rathburn stand within a walk of Square One, the Living Arts Centre, Sheridan College's Hazel McCallion campus and the transit terminal, and the Hurontario light rail line is expected to run past the front doors once it opens. Their suites are efficient, with in-suite laundry and a balcony, and the fee covers the pool, gym and concierge. Along Hurontario north to Eglinton and in Cooksville the buildings are a mix of 2000s towers and 1980s slabs. The Mississauga Valleys and Applewood buildings of the 1970s are the ones to look at if you want space: wide living rooms, an enclosed balcony, sometimes two full bathrooms, with fees that often include heat, hydro and water. Erin Mills has the towers by the Town Centre and near Credit Valley Hospital. Port Credit's mid-rises put the train and the harbour within a short stroll.
