What Sheridan
is
Sheridan, most of it the Sheridan Homelands, is west Mississauga at its most settled. The streets were laid out in the 1960s and 70s with frontages that newer subdivisions rarely match, and the tree cover has had half a century to mature over them.
Daily life runs through Sheridan Centre's amenities, the valley trail system along Sawmill Creek, and the parks stitched into the street plan. Erin Mills Town Centre is the bigger shop nearby; the University of Toronto Mississauga campus sits just across the valley.
Getting there and around
Drivers are the majority here: the QEW and Highway 403 are both minutes away, and Clarkson GO's express service is a short drive south. MiWay routes along Dundas and Erin Mills connect the pocket to the wider city.
